The new improved BOYS ROOM!!!!

Hello friends,

We just finished "remodeling" the boys room! Sarah is really excited to have finally been able to do this. We want to thank all of you that gave either cash or Walmart giftcards at Sarah´s babyshower while in Greenville (and even some friends from New Zealand that gave) because we changed the Walmart giftcards into cash and then brought all the money down to south Mexico with us and were able to do a whole lot to the room. The only major thing that we need to do now is get a bunk bed made...but that will be later next year!

We also want to thank several others that gave generous gifts to us a few months ago as we put a good bit of the money towards this project as well.

Check out the pics below...

Before pics of the room...

Here we are putting down interlocking colorful foam flooring...this makes the room much more comfortable for daddy when playing horsey or wrestling around...also makes it much warmer in the colder months; like right now!

Took down the sheets and put up actual curtains...

Got rid of the large plastic tubs and got some neat looking trays for the toys!

These two pics show how Joshua used to get ready to go to bed in his "old room" about a year ago (Caleb was still sleeping in the crib)...it gets really cold during November thru February so we were using an ironing board and some chairs to hold the blankets up...it was his own special tent!

So we decided to keep the tent idea but just make it much nicer and more roomy since both the older boys will be sharing the bed...here we are installing a wooden box frame around Joshua and Caleb´s mattress...

I´ve got such great helpers....

One of my helpers isn´t quite as excited as the other two...now who would that be!?!?!?!

And just imagine a nice looking bunk bed sitting right here....the boys can´t wait...

So this is how the room looks now going from the doorway around the room to the left....much improved don´t you think? We just picked up the three dressers (or drawers) last week and finally got them put up where we wanted them a few days ago...no more digging through the closet to find what each boy needs...Daddy thinks this is the best improvement of all!

The boys saying hello and THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Again, we want to thank all of you who made this possible.

We love our Crosspoint family as well; you have been soooooo good to us!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving,

Lance, Sarah, Joshua, Caleb and Andrew

First worship service in our home!

Hello family and friends,

Wanted to let you sit in on the first worship service in our home here in Teopsica. We gathered at 3pm on November 6th and had a great time in music, song, fellowship and of course the preached word!

Thirteen adults and 26 children came to the house...this represented nine different families. So as you can imagine, Sarah and I were very encouraged. Once everyone was seated I looked around and I realized that I knew everyone and I also realized that most all of them were indeginous...so I asked them to raise their hands if they also spoke the common dialect around here and everyone but two people raised their hands. So they told me that I would have to learn the Tzeltal dialect as well as Spanish. I told them I would try to learn some so we shall see.

Please continue to pray for us as we bring the life giving word of God to this little town in South Mexico.

Pics:

We transformed our living and dining area into the little house church we meet in...

Here were the first worshippers in our house church...none of the seats that I purchased last week were left vacant!!!  Praise God for this!

A young man (17) that I have known for over four years led us in song...

And another young one that I have known for almost 3 1/2 years helped him as well....man I loved seeing Joshua just get up there and sing along!!!! I didn´t have a chance to tell him he couldn´t get up there because Sarah and I were sitting in the back and all of a sudden he jumped up from his front row seat and grabbed his guitar and stood right up there and starting playing along :-)

Keep praying for us and the people of Teopisca,

The Keelings

Andrew at one month old...

We thought that it was about time to send out some new pics of the Keeling family seeing that we are now plus one more.

As most of you already know, little Andrew Paton Keeling was born on October 2, 2011....he weighed 7 lbs exactly and was 20.5 inches long.

Take a look at the pics below:

These big brothers can´t be any prouder of their little brother!!!

This is Cris...our dear friend and the very talented midwife that attended on all three of our boys births...she is part of the family now!!!!

All the Keeling men...

Our first "outing" as a famiy of 5....we had lunch in a little community down the road from us...

Cutting open a fresh coconut...

Umm, umm good....

The boys out playing around....

Man that must have been a HUGE cow....yes sir that is what you think it is!!!!

Daddy has been trying to do this as much as possible lately :-)

Short story for you....

When I came home from the hospital I wore the same outfit (with the 1 on it) that you see in the pic below...I have a picture of me in my office of the day I came home from the hospital and it looks similar to the one below because my dad slipped a football in the picture...so my mom gave Sarah the original outfit that I wore home from the hospital almost 41 years ago...and then we put it on Joshua when he came home from the hospital in 2008...

So we wanted to do something like that for the other boys as well so the second photo below is of Caleb (number 02) shortly after coming home and then the third photo is of Andrew (number 3)....

That´s all for now....

We will send more shortly,

Lance, Sarah, Joshua, Caleb and Andrew
