Christmas comes early at the orphange!

Hello friends,

I know that it is only September, but that didn't stop the Lord from blessing us with an early Christmas present here at the orphanage...after all we know that the Lord blesses His people with more than they can even imagine!

And what is the new gift?

ITS A NEW DRYER!!!!!

The orphanage has never had a dryer in its 4 year existence but that is not the case any longer...God has once again heard our prayers and answered in a mighty way. A few months ago, a group with Chiapas Ministries http://chiapasministries.com/ came to visit the children here at the orphanage and they asked us what we would consider to be one of the most needed items for the facility. Without giving it a second thought, Yara told the group that she would like to have a dryer since the rainy season was upon us and the number of children has now grown to 18 (her 3 children plus the 15 orphans/abandoned children) and it is very difficult to get all the laundry washed and dryed with just a few hours of sunshine each day.

Well about 2 weeks ago Steve Haag, the founder of Chiapas Ministries, returned to Chiapas and showed up at the door of the orphanage with a new dryer. And as you can see from the photos, it was just like Christmas for the kids...and especially those that are in charge of doing the laundry!
