Mission Accomplished

Hey everyone,

Well we have been back for two weeks now and things are just as exciting as ever. I have mentioned a donated van in the last two emails so I just wanted to say a little more about that and share a few photos that are worth a thousand words. There are 14 orphans/abandoned children and pastor C has a total of 5 in his family so that means that the 19 of them have been traveling around in a Ford Explorer…take a look at the photo below!!!!!!!!

(remember if you want to enlarge the photo then just click on it)

But the Lord is so very gracious to His own as he moved in the heart of a certain family and they decided that they would donate a 15 passenger van to the orphanage. The timing could not have been better as we were back in the states and therefore we were able to drive it back and present it to the orphanage upon our arrival back to south Mexico…you should have seen the smiling faces!!!! What an awesome provision from the Lord as it is only a 1999 with relatively low mileage (check out the photo below).

Here are a few pics of the kids...just wanted to keep them before you so that you could remember to pray and intercede on their behalf...

We are back to our normal Monday's, Tuesday's and Wedensday's...

Just the 5 Girls (outnumbered 9 to 5 with the addition of little 12 day old Samuel who is now 2 months old)!!!

Here is Samuel at birth and then already playing the piano....

Play time with Lance and Sarah in the backyard of our home....

Preparing a meal for the gang!

Meet Lucio -

Here we are cutting up sugar cane...the real thing! They pick out their favorite stick and then I slice off the hard covering and they start chomping...it was Joshua's first taste as well!!!! (can you see him??)

Just playing some games; we brought back Jenga, Connect Four, some puzzles and Scrabble!

Sarita playing the Commander as she hands out orders and instructions before meal time!

Quiet time....doesn't happen often....

The clean up crew...

Daily morning devotions...this day we were talking about the Great Commandment and the need for Christians to share Christ with their neighbors and even to the whole world...had a few little ones say that they wanted to go and tell....Oh Lord, make that happen!!!

Our crazy life....can you find Joshua again??? Wherever the gang is, he is not far behind!!!!!

Lots of love,

Lance, Sarita and 361 day old Joshua
